Awakening Hydrosol

This hydrosol blend of Yarrow  and Orange Blossom is a wonderful option for those who are craving a deeply centering aroma to add to their daily skincare rituals.

WHAT ARE HYDROSOLS?  

Hydrosols are the pure, natural waters that are produced during steam distillation of plant materials such as leaves, flowers, peels, berries, wood, stems and roots. Hydrosols are the water-based byproducts of the distillation process with very small amounts of essential oil suspended within it. This process maintains the therapeutic properties of the plant matter in a gentler form than it’s essential oil counterparts. Hydrosols do not need to be diluted and can be applied directly on the skin without a carrier vehicle. They are pure plant matter ready to be infused into your daily skin care routine.

We work with a California based organic farm and distiller to create these blends.

Working with hydrosols has been a long standing practice at home and in the studio for guests. Hydrosols are so versatile, even those with the most sensitive of skin can benefit from using hydrosols in their daily skin care rituals.

I love using my hydrosols multiple times a day to refresh my skin.  Whether it's during my daily skincare rituals or when my skin is asking for that "extra sip of water," a hydrosol always comes to the rescue.  Spray, spray spray and viola!  Happy skin instantly.

• Orange Blossom also known as Neroli is steam distilled from the delicate white flowers of the bitter orange tree. It has a gorgeous sweet floral fragrance with a hint of citrus instantly uplifting one’s mood and dispelling negativity.

Spray liberally on clean skin before moisturizer or to hydrate throughout the day.
