What a beautiful ritual making tea for yourself is. Whether it be a daily practice or that sporadic brew when your body calls for it, I always encourage each of us to make it special. I created this blend to support the skin's natural healing abilities while also calming and soothing the senses. It's light, fresh, sweet and can not only be used as a tea, but added to your bath, used as a herbal spritz and of course, shared with your loved one.
Mellisa also known as Lemon Balm is known to help reduce stress and anxiety, improves sleep, aids in digestive and even cognitive function and can help treat infections.
Spearmint leaf can is a wonderful treatment for digestive issues and is high in antioxidants, important to skin health. Spearmint leaf may aid with hormone imbalances, improve memory, fight bacterial infections, lower blood sugar and may help reduce stress.
Licorice has been used to significantly ease premenstrual tension (PMS), has anti-inflammatory properties and has been used throughout Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda and some Western practionitions as a treatment method for depression.
To steep tea, pour about 8oz. of hot water over 1 teaspoon of Skin Magic Tea and let them rest for a few minutes, but no longer than 15 minutes.
